The Department of Fisheries is only one government organization that regulates fisheries sector in Bangladesh. It is the main body of fisheries sector of Bangladesh. When it recruits the BCS cadres, it improves their quality by arranging different training, workshop, seminar, symposium, and reunion and professional organization. Director General, Director, Assistant Director, district fisheries officer, upazila fisheries officer, senior upazila fisheries officer, Scientific officer, farm manager etc. are the posts in DoF.
